Cant Hooks

Peavey Manufacturing has been making logging tools in Maine since 185. Cant hooks are great for handling logs and cants or beams around the sawmill. They also work great for rolling logs when cutting firewood

Handles are top quality White Mountain Hickory hardwood air dried to 18% moisture content. Precision cut to an exact fit. Duckbill Hooks are drop forged with the bills ground to a fine point. Clasps and extension toe rings are ductile iron castings for long lasting service. Heads are painted, handles have a clear lacquer finish.

This cant hook is fitted with a quality hardwood handle, 2 3/8″ in diameter, which gives it maximum strength.
