Terrain (formerly known as Taupo Rigging & Safety Services) was established in 1983 and has a strong reputation as the best one-stop shop for all things forestry and safety.

Our safety showroom is based in the Central Plateau (Taupo) and well known as an industry leader in the supply and knowledge of industrial, forestry and safety supplies throughout New Zealand and Australasia. Purchased in 2006 by Mark and Lisa Aldridge, Terrain specialises in providing extensive ranges of wire rope, logging hardware, harvester chain, safety hi-vis clothing and PPE (personal protection equipment). We boast the largest range of safety boots in NZ. Work boot styles are forever evolving so the ranges on our safety shop website are updated frequently to ensure the selection offered is always up-to-date with current trends and standards.

The Terrain Wire Rope Warehouse (situated on the same site as our main safety supply company) holds stocks of wire rope in excess of 100 tonne to suit every forestry requirement. Offering a 24/7 service to contractors both instore and in the bush nationwide to rig your hauler, means we help you keep costly downtime to an absolute minimum.
