Hip Chain

HipChain 2.0   This distance measurer is simple to use and light to carry. The distance  walked while marking out forest trails is quickly done with this device strapped to your waist.  5000 metres on a slim thread cone allows a case profile that fits close to your body.

The reset knob of the distance counter is conveniently mounted at the rear.  The the knob’s shape allows resetting to zero from from either the top, side or rear. Easy to re-load, the case opens wide where the replacement cone’s base simply interlocks with the case. Re-threading is very clear and the parts easily accessed.

Configured either of two calibrations, Metric or Imperial.

Please note this model has superseded the previous model that held 2500mtrs of thread.
